Several factors can cause the appearance of facial lines.

Sun exposure, ageing and repeated movements from facial expressions can all cause the skin to fold and wrinkle.  Anti-wrinkle treatments work by weakening the facial muscles to soften and reduce the lines and wrinkles on the face.  This is a very effective anti-ageing treatment that helps to rejuvenate the skin, smooth away lines and folds and prevent these lines from setting in deeper over time.

What can anti-wrinkle treatments be used for?

  • Frown lines – Frown lines are the vertical lines that can be seen in between the eyebrows.
  • Forehead lines – These are the horizontal lines on the forehead which are seen when you raise your eyebrows.
  • Crow’s feet – These are the lines around the corners of the eyes and are more prominent when you smile or laugh.
  • Lip lines – These are the vertical lines around the mouth and top lip. Things like smoking, drinking through straws, or simply talking can cause these lines to appear.
  • Droopy eyebrows – Cosmetic fillers can be used to raise the eyebrows to help open the eyes up. This is often called a “chemical brow lift”.
  • Bunny lines – These are the fine wrinkles that appear when you scrunch up your nose, such as when you laugh or smile deeply.
  • Neck bands – these are the vertical bands that run down the sides of the neck.
  • Chin dimpling – This is when the chin appears bumpy and uneven. Also known as Pebble chin or orange-peel chin.
  • Gummy smile – When excess gum tissue becomes visible when you smile or laugh.
  • Excessive sweating – This is also known as “hyperhidrosis.” Most often, people sweat from their palms, feet, underarms, or head while the rest of the body remains dry.

What will happen at my consultation?
